Katie Cimonetti, CFP®
Financial Advisor
I find a great deal of purpose in guiding people toward making thoughtful decisions about their financial lives. Since becoming a financial advisor in 2015, I’ve worked with clients through career changes, growing families, business decisions, and retirement. My goal is to help them understand their options, get organized, and feel more confident about the path ahead.
I began my career at Edward Jones and later worked at Fidelity. Both experiences taught me a great deal, but I knew I eventually wanted to own my own business and build lasting relationships with clients on my own terms. I founded VIE Wealth Management so I could create the kind of firm I believed in: one grounded in financial planning, guided by a fiduciary standard, and able to meet people where they are.
I didn’t want the work to be driven by a target for selling a particular product. I wanted the freedom to understand what matters to each client, explain their choices clearly, and recommend an approach that fits their life. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, I take seriously the trust clients place in me. I work hard, stay proactive, and want to be the person they feel comfortable calling when a financial decision feels complicated.
Many of the people I most enjoy serving have built their lives through demanding work and years of dedication: people in the trades, teachers, nurses, first responders, military families, and business owners. I enjoy helping them make the most of what they’ve earned—whether that means evaluating benefits, bringing accounts together, planning for retirement, or making a decision during a major life change.
Outside the office, my husband, Drew, and I are raising our daughters, Teagan and Tessa. Teagan enjoys golf and competitive dance, while Tessa keeps us busy with flag football, cross country, basketball, softball, and strength training. We also love traveling, spending time outdoors, and being with family and friends.
Drew’s service as a Marine Corps veteran and former police officer has shaped our family’s commitment to supporting military families and first responders. Supporting children with dyslexia is also close to our hearts following Tessa’s diagnosis.
Distance running is one of the ways I recharge and challenge myself. It reminds me that meaningful progress takes a plan, discipline, and the willingness to adjust along the way. That mindset guides both the way I serve my clients and the business I’m building at VIE.
